Our Staff
Our staff either have the credentials in Early Childhood Education, state recommended trainings and/or both. AS a result, our qualified staff of caregivers have been chosen both because of their experiences, educational background and their commitment to young children.
We specialize in providing a safe, respectful and nurturing environment in which children are learning new things everyday to support their current and future successes in school and life.

Ms. Cherry

Ms. Sana

Ms. Cherry, has been with ALA, for almost two years serving in our Preschool Classroom.
Ms. Cherry, was not new to the childcare field, upon her transition, she previously served as a classroom floater at the Caring Center in West Philadelphia.

Her passion for working with children is evident. She's loudly-fun, artistic, creative, adamant, hands-on, young at heart and actively involved. We are delighted to see her grow both the program as well as her background here at ALA!

Ms. Jacky aka Mom Mom

Ms. Jacky also widely known as Mom-Mom is ALA's opener, closer, lunch-lady, substitute teacher, everyone's Grandmom and all-around favorite.
A recent retiree from the Department of Human Services, after serving 35 years. We are so lucky to have her!

She brings wisdom, patience, a little sternness and a lot of motherly instinct to the environment.
When you call, she comes running!
